Aruna Chhabria, MD, FAAFP, DABFM has been practicing medicine since 2009. She completed her medical education with honors at Gandhi Medical College in India. She then pursued further training in Family Medicine at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of healthcare across the lifespan, from birth to end-of-life care.

Dr. Chhabria’s diverse experience includes primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, inpatient medicine, nursing home, and rehabilitation care, as well as home health services. She is also familiar with the unique healthcare needs of active-duty military personnel, veterans, and military families, drawing on her experience in military medicine.

In addition, Dr. Chhabria is skilled in conducting annual, preventive, Department of Transportation (DOT), employment, immigration, school, and sports physicals, among others.

Dr. Chhabria is adept at face-to-face as well as telemedicine appointments.

Dr. Chhabria is a family-oriented physician and a dedicated military mom. She finds joy in reading, sustainable organic gardening, watching classic movies, and volunteering in the community. Her other interests include spirituality, meditation, curating classic Indian vegetarian recipes, as well as exploring Indian handlooms and crafts, which are rapidly disappearing.
